The Research Institute of Kartveliology was founded in September 2021 by the initiative of the founder and president of the University of Georgia, Doctor of History, Professor Manana Sanadze* (see CV and list of publications). The statute of the institute was approved by the protocol of the Rector's Council of the University dated September 17, 2021 N 35/21* (see the protocol).
